It is very difficult to think about what we can do to contribute to non-economic objectives.

Sponsoring of sports events is a natural answer of course, and we have done that in the past.

 

But what could be more universal than sports?

 

We thought that music is one of, if not the, most universal language.

 

We are proud to support the maestro Bartholomeus-Henri Van de Velde and his symphonic orchestra. 

 

 

The Charlemagne Orchestra (www.charlemagneorchestra.com) gave his first performance in Brussels back in 2000 in front of an audience of 40 people….

 

Since then the reputation of the Charlemagne and its Chef has grown up to the point where the Royal Conservatory hall is not big enough for its enthusiastic public. So they moved to the legendary Flagey Studio 4 for this 9th season. The Brussels based orchestra of musicians from 27 countries (hence the new name “for Europe”…) offers audiences provocative and less-known works from the Classical, Romantic and Contemporary orchestral repertoire.
